Simply enjoy

The Ambassade Hotel has a number of public areas that can be used by guests at any time. These spaces are particularly suitable for an informal or business meeting, but also offer our guests an opportunity to simply enjoy the hotel's atmosphere at their leisure. The public areas provide a good impression of the style of the Ambassade Hotel, a splendid blend of classical and antique, combined with modern art from the Cobra movement. At the same time, all public areas also provide modern conveniences, such as a telephone connection, enabling you to make both internal and external telephone calls. Drinks and meals from our room service menu are also served in these areas.

Lobby

As you enter the Ambassade Hotel you will find yourself in the hotel lobby, which has various seating areas with comfortable chairs and an 18th-century ball leg table at which you can quietly read the paper or do some writing. The lobby also has a showcase with works by sculptress Ans Hey. An extensive range of international newspapers and magazines is available as well.

Library

Turning left past the reception desk you will come to the Ambassade hotel's library with its magnificent furniture of the end of the 18th century. The style of this furniture is known as "Retour d'Egypte" and dates back to just before the end of the 18th century. The library contains a unique collection of eighteen hundred signed books by Dutch and foreign authors who have all stayed at the Ambassade Hotel. Here you can also view copies of our guest books.
