You can find out how phenomena of natural science affect our daily lives, and get an idea of technology, ICT as well as biological and behavioural sciences.

Nieuwe Kerk (New Church)

In the immediate vicinity of the Royal Palace on Dam square you will find the Nieuwe Kerk, which is known for fascinating variety of exhibitions. The Nieuwe Kerk was the location of the wedding ceremony of Dutch Crown Prince Willem-Alexander to Princess Máxima.

Oude Kerk (Old Church)

The Oude Kerk is the oldest monument of Amsterdam and its history dates back to the year 1250 AD. This church is situated in the middle of the red light district, and is the city's oldest stone building. It is known for his church services, exhibitions and organ concerts. The annual World Press Photographic exhibition is held here, as well.
