Elegantly furnished rooms, each with their own unique character
The Ambassade Hotel is located in ten seventeenth-century canal-side buildings that accommodate 58 rooms including 6 deluxe rooms, 5 suites and 1 apartment. Due to the buildings' rich histories, all the rooms have their own unique character and very specific charm. None of the rooms are alike in regard to their size and/or layout, and this quality is emphasised by their variety in furnishings. Although the rooms are all furnished mostly in Louis XV/XVI style, the décor and use of colour is different in each one. The rooms also have modern accents in the form of paintings by such Dutch painters as Theo Wolvecamp. This painter was a member of the world-famous Cobra group to which Karel Appel and Corneille belonged as well.
In spite of the fact that the rooms in the Ambassade Hotel are quite different in character and appearance, each is attractive, intimate and provided with every modern convenience. All rooms have a bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, bath slippers and hairdryer. The bathroom also offers you a wide selection of guest items. All rooms are equipped with a colour television with 28 channels including CNN, two telephones with a direct outside line and a safe. Included as standard furniture in each room is a sitting area with two comfortable armchairs and a desk. Each room is also equipped with a free ADSL and WIFI connection for your computer giving you direct access to the Internet.
All rooms and public areas have Airconditioning.
