Art in Koan Float

In the various areas of the Ambassade Hotel's floating & massage centre "Koan Float" you can see works of applied art by the Japanese artist and calligrapher Kazuaki Tanahashi. This versatile artist was born in Japan in 1933 and has worked in California since 1977. As an artist, Kazuaki Tanahashi is well known for his Ensos: circles drawn with a single brush stroke, in keeping with Zen tradition and symbolising the completeness of each moment. Kazuaki Tanahashi is also famous for his work for peace and his inspiring translation of the well-known Zen Master Dogen. See www.koan-float.com.
