Art in the Ambassade Hotel

In many places during your stay at the Ambassade Hotel you will come across both modern and traditional works of art. All of which are part of the hotel's own art collection. The point of departure we took when compiling this art collection - which is still growing - was to create a tasteful and captivating harmony between 'modern' and 'traditional'. As an introduction to our collection we would like to give some background information about the individual artists.

Modern art

The Ambassade Hotel started to build its collection of modern art in 2000. The focal point of this collection is the so-called 'Cobra movement', particularly one of its members, artist Theo Wolvecamp. Our collection also contains the works of other prominent Dutch and foreign artists.
